Staff Profile
James (Manager)

James is a lycra wearing, coffee drinking road rider. He started off on the shop floor after working in another Bristol bike shop then moved down to the workshop for a year and a half and then became manager in April 2004. He started off riding mountain bikes and can still be seen going for an early morning blast during the dry months on his TI XC hardtail. However is more often found on his road bike (Giant TCR Composite) come rain, wind or shine all year round. His other ride is a converted Giant OCR for the winter…fixed of course.

Tom

Tom loves working in a bike shop so much he’s left us three times only to return. He been travelling and to university. Tom like Murray started his riding on a mountain bike and for a few exceptions has remained a mountain biker. He’s currently riding a Specialized SX SuperCross, a bike that in his own words ‘does the lot’. Mainly DH and 4X. Tom continues to be involved in building mountain bike tracks including those on the World Cup circuit. Like all of us one bike isn’t enough, he also rides a Charge Plug, fixed.

Murray

Murray rides BMX street and occasionally park. He’s been riding since his early teens and started like most of us on a mountain bike. For as long as I have known Murray he has always been passionate about his division of the sport and is usually riding around on the latest gear. He also owns a Charge Plug, a kind of courier road style bike. Obviously being a BMXer he couldn’t be seen on a ‘normal’ bike so chose the next best thing, a road bike with one brake and one gear, one fixed gear!

Ashley

Sean

Sean joined us in the summer of 2005 having previously worked at the Halfords. He has thankfully seen the error of his ways. Sean shortly after joining us was put through the Cytec mechanics course and is now a fully qualified mechanic and wheel builder. He currently rides a Charge Blender High and a TI Airborne XC hardtail. Surprisingly for a bicycle mechanic he is of sunny disposition and is happy to talk to our customers about their bikes. As with all mechanics Sean loves playing with and finding out about new trick bits and gadgets.
